As an adventure travel blogger from down under, immersing myself in Chateau De Picomtal's rich history was a delight beyond words. Jacques, Sharon, and Chloe graciously catered to our family's every need, even recommending a charming local spot for our first-night snack. Our room, overlooking the breathtaking garden, was a tranquil retreat after days filled with exploration. My little ones, all under 16, were thrilled with the array of activities the Chateau offered. The garden, a paradise for play and relaxation, kept them happily entertained.What stood out most was the genuine warmth and hospitality of our hosts. Their dedication to preserving the Chateau's authenticity shone through every detail. The shared kitchen was a lifesaver for quick meals amidst our adventures. Although there isn't a restaurant on-site, the nearby village provided delectable dining options.Our three-night stay felt like a journey through time, embracing the allure of the French Alps. Jacques and Sharon's passion for their property was evident in every lovingly restored corner.
